audacity?? audacity is not on 10.0 due to its mp3 dependency.
For Alpha2 (perhaps Alpha3) we have compiled it without mp3 support and include it again.
pysol is missing because of MPEG2 dependency. Do you know if it really needs it?
This is getting ridiculous! Just allow the thing to play MP3s for crying out loud. Good grief even Debian has MP3 players, and you can't get any more anal about free, and legal! I'm getting worn thin on SUSE's flimsy excuses for not having MP3 support.
When you are Novell, I'm sure there are companies and people out there just ready to settle old scores if you don't tread carefully. I'm sure there are other small guys who will provide that stuff, I build my own. Taking Debian to court would only accrue enough damages to keep the lawyers in icecream for the duration of the trial if it's held in an average summer. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
