Greetings, Just thought that I would post this to the group as a FYI in case someone else might get stuck. Here's the background: The TV card is a Hauppauge WinTV GO 190, Rev D153 with a LG TPI18NSR13F tuner, chipset BT878. (model 190 on box, model 44801 on card) Yast picks this card up as a card 10 with a 4 tuner, (4=no tuner found) so after screwing around with this thing for quite awhile now I manually setup the "option" setting in /etc/modprobe.conf to: "options bttv card=10 tuner=27". This works! I had previously had the tuner set to 39 and it would only pickup "broadcast" signals and not the cable channels. And the best thing is now I can zap windows for good off this system! (I have VMware going to play subspace) ;) This is all under SuSE 10.0, and I'm using kdetv and a compiled souce of TVtime. Dana
