Hi all, Just updated to boxed 10 a couple of days ago and the final turned out to be quite nice compared to the last beta I tried of 10. Very fast boot time, smooth install. Now to the buglets I'm seeing. ;o) I've updated to all the YOU updates and KDE supplementary updates, so as far as I'm aware everything is of the latest SuSE provided files. Wasn't really sure if this was a 10 problem or KDE problem, so am starting here. I am noticing a few problems with Konqueror and KMail/Kontact though. First of all, Konq the file manager seems not to want to arrange the file (icons) view in an orderly manner. I have blank spaces where an icon should be, many of icons are in a disorderly arrangement, not lined up. Secondly, I've found Konqueror wants to do some sig 11's when going to certain sites, especially those that have a lot of Flash items or when initially trying to view a video file. Restart it, do the same thing and most times without problems. KMail/Kontact reading mails & moving from one folder to another seems sluggish. Turned off the "prefers HTML" setting and that helped but didn't remove the problem. Don't know if others have seen this or not? Moving from one mail to another, sluggish, hesitates to display next mail. Move from one folder to another, sluggish, hesitates to display first unread message. All this feels like KDE, 3.4.3, stuff, but wanted to check with those not yet updated to that to see if same problems existed? I'm still seeing the QT integration bug as well. I know a patch was created to fix this, but has it not been integrated with a new kdebase3-SuSE yet? Lastly, where is the src dvd image or where to obtain. I believe Christoph mentioned there would be something in the box explaining how to obtain the src dvd, but I've searched high & low and am yet to find something? Sources, please, need, want & should be included still! end of line Lee -- --- KMail v1.8.3 --- SuSE Linux Pro v10.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year.
