I keep hearing great things about NetworkManager but haven't been able to find a version for x86_64 that works with SUSE 10. Novell lists the package as only being included for the dual layer dvd which hasn't arrived yet and none of the mirrors seem to have the source rpms for it. I built and older version from the source rpm for rc1 (NetworkManager-0.4.1cvs20050818-2) but aside from the problem with having to rebuild the gtk icons, the applet dies after connecting to any network with the following error: Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x2f7f)! Has anyone tried NetworkManager with 10 yet (preferably x86_64) and gotten it fully working? I don't want to file a bug report yet since I believe there is a newer version in the final release (NetworkManager-0.4.1cvs20050901-2) but the only way to get it that I've seen is to wait for my dvd to show up. Are there any mirrors that have the full source rpms for 10? NetworkManager looks to be significantly improved over netapplet. Cheers, Dan
