Yes, be way of creating a "patch disk", which in esence consists of duplicating the directory structure in the ftp server. I think this is documented somewhere in the suse site or the unoficial suse faq. Was, at least.
Carlos thanks. How much of the directory structure, to wit, which directory and its entire contents in the ftp server should I duplicate on my disk? Perhaps ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/update/9.3?
Sorry, I don't remember right now, I haven't done it for a year or more. But as I say, it is documented somewhere (www.suse.de/en, probably) and has been comented here, in this list. Search for local update server, or patch/update disk. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFDHE4jtTMYHG2NR9URAnnLAKCWyoRsP6BIQzdpKGqqN2jTY9dB7wCeIj0L lbrMAe7HltodEy7Cp2VTnKw= =cAri -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
