IBM Thinkpads tend to be much higher priced then a lot of the other name brand machines, such as HP, Toshiba, Dell, etc. In the case of IBM hardware, you get what you pay for. In my experience, IBM's hardware is the best. No doubt. If you can afford it, buy IBM. -- Christopher Shanahan
