Hi Randall,
This is wonderful. Sorry for the direct email but I wanted to ask you: can it be displayed before the logon screen? The users should see it before they supply username and password.
I have seen that type of warning banner shown after login, not before, to remember employees of their responsibilities. As to a login warning before login, you can use the /etc/issue and /etc/issue.net files (they can be much longer than one line). It has been mentioned that you could write or get written a customized graphical login entry; however, notice that those people that login in remotely, will not use that modified program, but their local one; for that reason, I would remain withing the standard methods. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFDOJU7tTMYHG2NR9URAp1ZAJ4sjO9cxzWlwGQKKrlKmHUUfh+EzgCbBGYb VY54ux9kdLgIVraibnv2DjQ= =/nDQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
