Great news, but still almost empty.
Pascal, please tell the admin he may use

rsync://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS-beta4/inst-source/
rsync://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS-beta4/inst-source-java

and - different server -

rsync://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS-beta4/iso/

to speed up completion.

ftp4 is almost idle (below 10 MByte/sec), and ftp has the i386 and x86_64 
ISOs almost every time directly from buffercache.
