Any idea when the next version of SuSE is supposed to be released?
I know it's supposed to be at regular intervals, but I don't know when those intervals start or how long their duration is...
Thanks for letting me ask a silly question. ;)
The "normal" cycle would put it at Oct. or Nov. Reportedly, there are MAJOR changes/improvements in the next release, so it could be a tad further down the road, as SUSE attempts to take a big bite out of MickySoft's desktop market.
We'll start with beta1 next week, so expect something in the shops by October. And it will be called "SUSE Linux 10.0" - so, there won't be a 9.4 ;-) Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
