I have a Nokia 6600 phone and I have previously (about a year ago)
managed to use it to connect my laptop to the internet via the
Bluetooth interface.

Now I am trying to do it again, but I get a weird failure.

When I try to bring the ppp interface, I get the following error:

Failed to open /dev/rfcomm0: No route to host

I have checked and the laptop can ping the phone over the bluetooth
interface with l2ping:

--<snip>--
# l2ping 00:0E:6D:5D:4C:9A
Ping: 00:0E:6D:5D:4C:9A from 00:0F:B3:91:13:D8 (data size 20) ...
0 bytes from 00:0E:6D:5D:4C:9A id 0 time 43.54ms
0 bytes from 00:0E:6D:5D:4C:9A id 1 time 17.62ms
0 bytes from 00:0E:6D:5D:4C:9A id 2 time 28.54ms
--<snip>--

The rfcomm device is up:

--<snip>--
# rfcomm -a
rfcomm0: 00:0F:B3:91:13:D8 channel 1 clean
--<snip>--

I googled for the error an only found two references to it, but one is
in Polish and the other in Russian and the translators I tried failed
to translate it into anything that makes sense.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thanks
