Mitja,

Is this description of the symptoms accurate?:

- KMail doesn't make addresses you've added available via the 'select' button
when you're composing a new e-mail, but it /does/ make automatically captured
addresses available.

- You tell KMail to /stop/ capturing addresses but it ignores you and keeps
capturing them, anyway.

If this is correct, it almost looks like KMail and Kontact are somehow using
two different address books.

Have you been to <http://www.kontact.org/> yet? If not, try looking there to
see how you set up and manage the address books. Sorry, but I don't have
this information for you off the top of my head. And, please, advise me via
the list when you have figured this one out, ok? (I know you will!)

regards,

- Carl
