check out the fstab entries and autofs mount option. by default no linux kernel will support NTFS partition. pls recompile the kernel or install a kerenl with default ntfs support. u can get it fron net...
Ummm.. this is a default SUSE 9.3 install... why in the world would I have to recompile the default SUSE Kernel to get it to work exactly like 27 other 9.3 installs I have done? Not good advice got a new SUSE user... I can do it, but I am not going to tell the new user to do that. And this is not the solution... definitely not the solution to the problem. The default 9.3 install is suppoed to do this "out of the box", not with a bunch of guru tinkering and downloading other kernels off the net. BTW, by default SuSE9.3 DOES support NTFS for Read Only. Supports it just fine. C.
