Sorry, I'm sure I'm not helping you here. But this subject is very
interesting to me. Is the ADSL standard using telephone lines in India
the same with the ones in the U.S./Canada, or in Europe, or even in the
other part of Asian countries? I know the shape of power plug of
modems/routers is different between the U.S. and Europe for Siemens ADSL
routers because we once got a wrong one. (I live in the U.S.)
Anyhow, as you and FX discussed, PC side of the modem/router wouldn't
have any problems as long as it comes with an Ethernet port. I think
you're asking about this part.
But it would be useless when you can get SuSE 12. At that time I guess
ADSL likely has been replaced by a newer/faster technology in India.
