Hi there, i wonder if it'd possible to upgrade to opensuse 10 beta 3 from, for instance, 9.3? How that would be done?
Sure it's possible. Just boot from CD 1 or the DVD, and select 'installation', and when the installer asks what you want to do (install or upgrade) select upgrade. You may have to make manual choices in the package selection, especially if you have lots of updates on your 9.3 Afterwards you may want to run something like rpm -qa --qf "%{NAME} %{DISTRIBUTION}\n" | grep -v 10.0 to see if you missed any packages that are still at the 9.3 level
