I didn't know you were looking for the WM(Audio) codecs (although, you would
have thought this was indicated by WMA in the subject line. Sorry. :( )
However, I believe the same stuff applies - FWIW, I don't believe
/usr/bin/codecs is exactly the right directory, but that was what I used for
Kaffiene. I suppose you could use Kaffiene for WMAs. A matter of personal
preference, really.

PS - As I decided to look for the proper directory to stash the codecs, I've
come to find that amarok runs on the xine engine. So, theoretically,
if you've
already got the xinelib1 package and the codec, and configure via
Kaffiene, then
amarok should be able to play WMAs just fine. (Right?) A quick and
dirty Google
search shows that some people have trouble importing the WMAs into
their amarok
collection, so heads up.
Or.... if you're using amaroK, install and configure the GStreamer engine (on the SUSE disks). Then setup amaroK to use GSteamer instead of XMMS or the default engine... problem solved... WMAs play fine.
