That could be a tricky thing. The question is: How does one measure that a system "feels fast/responsive"? I think that this is mostly based on personal impressions of a user and it's not that easy to express this by numbers. However there has been some work for measuring responsiveness of the Kernel by Con Kolivas. His tool is called interbench (interbench.kolivas.org). Maybe this is a good point to start. -- Jens Siebert
