Hi--
Have any of you ever used Linspire Linux, and if so, what do you think of it? Several very low-cost computers are available with Linspire installed.
Hi, I got one of those from Fry's; a duron CPU. I re-formatted and installed SUSE 9.3 Linspire is polished and competant. It is aimed squarely at disgruntled XP users. They make their business model the subscription to their 'repository' of cool apps and accessories. More than YOU, almost like a comprehensive SW store or stuff they have tailored directly for their Distro. If you are comfortable with the SUSE model then don't bother; however if you value being able to get more 'hand-holding' and are willing to pay for it then Linspire is for you. PeterB
