Eddie. Is this on 9.3? IF so then I am having the same or similar
problem. I have DHCP set up on my router modem. It works fine on
Xandros and Win$ software but it fails giving a message about firewall
problems with 9.3 However, I have recently upgraded from 9.2 to 9.3
Perhaps I should have done a complete re-install instead... I had no
ethernet problems with 9.2 but then I was running it through a switch
straight to a Win 2k PC using Samba merely as the client.
I'm puzzled...
