To be honest, much of London is defiantly normal this morning - I work
about 300 metres from Aldgate, and you wouldn't know anything was
amiss.
The general mood in London is 'stuff you, whoever you are' - terrorist
bombs have been a semi-regular part of London life for 30 years now,
so most people not directly involved are pretty much unfazed.
The best reported quote was from a veteran of the Blitz: "I've been
blown up by a better class of bastard than this."
best wishes,
Gideon.
