Anyone know how to create a socket? Running milter-amavisd which is expecting a socket file in /var/run/amavis and the dir is empty.
I often use mknod
mknod -p socket_name
or
mknod p socket_name
depending on version of linux.
That just gives me the following error: pc5:# mknod -p /var/run/amavis/amavis-milter.sock mknod: invalid option -- p Try `mknod --help' for more information. And I get the same error with mknod p (without the minus sign.
