Sorry about the top post, that has led to this off topic discussion.
FWIW as an on topic reply, NSS isn't available as a free add-on
as far as I'm aware, and there are benefits for both Reiserfs and NSS
depending on circumstances.

Rick Holzer from Novell was kind enough to give these links to me. I
beilieve I will have to start my install over an use evms before I will
be able to convert the drives to NSS.
