Hi All

My phone(house phone) is connected to my modem of my computer. Is there a program that can answer, dial and like a normal phone. So i connect my microphone to my pc and can talk like that.

Depends on how you want to do that. If you have an external modem
that's voice capable (it will have a earphone and microphone jack), you
just plug it in there, and use something like minicom to dial the
number.

If you want to do it in style, use asterisk. It's included with SUSE
9.3. There's also an asterisk@home project which is a ready-made
inplementation of asterisk based on CentOS, I think.

I went to the install/remove programs and searched for asterisk but nothing came up.
Where will i beable to find it.

Gerald
