Hi, I want to see the 'info' page for the command 'find', so I use 'info find', and I get: | File: find.info, Node: Invoking find, Next: Invoking loca\ | te, Up: Reference | | 7.1 Invoking `find' | =================== See? I get the chapter 7.1 directly, not the main info page! Then I use 'pinfo find' - that's my preferred program -, and I get what I want (but): | File: find.info, Node: Top, Next: Introduction, Up: (dir) | | This file documents the GNU utilities for finding files that match | certain criteria and performing various actions on them. This is | edition 4.2.19, for `find' version 4.2.19. ... | * Primary Index:: The components of `find' expressions. However, I have another problem. I navigate to the "Primary Index" node of the above info; if here I press "left" or "right" keys, it crashes: [left] |*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (out): 0x0808a1e0 *** | |Aborted |cer@nimrodel:~> ndex [right] |*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid next size (normal): 0x080863d0 *** | |Aborted |cer@nimrodel:~> ndex What's wrong? Perhaps the info page is broken? -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 46312 2005-03-19 21:18 /usr/share/info/find.info.gz -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
