Greetings I migrated from RedHat to SLES9 this weekend. I have configured my DNS for an internal network, The problem I am faced with is the server itself is not resolving, is there a reason why this would happen? The name server is ns.teq The fileserver is preload.teq the stations are station10 to 110 I can pin any station or preload from any station. But not ns.teq, dig ns.teq shows it is resolving, dig -x <ip-addr> shows reverse dns to be working. Dhcp must be working and assigning the correct resolv.conf settings, as ping above is working, Is it the firewall causing this. If so how do I fix it?
