Hey Group;
Why is "df" showing the same entry twice /dev/sda1 13678872 7768848 5910024 57% /media/sda1 /dev/sda1 13678872 7768848 5910024 57% /media/sda1
This is a USB hard drive which is working but mount or df is pisplay an error. /dev/sda1 shown twice
df displays one line for each line it finds in /etc/mtab. I'm guessing for some reason you have two lines for sda1 in there. How is it mounted? Did you do it manually, or is it the automounter or what?
Thanks for the reply but - No Sir! only one line /dev/sda1 /media/sda1 subfs rw,nosuid,nodev,sync,fs=auto,procuid 0 0 /dev/sdb1 /media/sdb1 subfs rw,nosuid,nodev,sync,fs=auto,procuid 0 0 One is the usb HD and the other is a usb stick drive -- 73 de Donn Washburn Hpage: " http://www.hal-pc.org/~n5xwb " Ham Callsign N5XWB Email: " n5xwb@hal-pc.org " 307 Savoy St. " n5xwb@arrl.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 " http://counter.li.org " #279316
