Hello, I've got SUSE 9.2 Pro on my Dell laptop, which has an ALPS touchpad. The pad performance is very slow and sluggish, and tap support is spotty at best. Mouse movement is also erratic and and inaccurate. Playing with the mouse settings doesn't seem to have an effect on it. I've heard that the Synaptics touch pad driver works great for these ALPS touch pads, and I wanted to see if anyone else had a good experience with this driver. The installation seems pretty complicated for a n00b like me, and I wanted to get some feedback before I bothered to try the install on my own. Also, any installation tips for this driver are appreciated. Thanks -Nick __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
