You won't have to if you use firefox, since the firefox in the x86_64 distro
is actually 32 bit, so it can handle all the 32 bit plugins

Delete the file /opt/kde3/share/services/krpmview.desktop (or uninstall
kdebase3-SuSE, but then you'll lose other things as well)

The big difference isn't what's in the defaults. It's how easy it is to get
away from them
