Yes, Nagios is on the list. What I do not know is, if it will be
enough. I would suspect that some kind of software, which monitors the
RAID controller on a low level will be needed. I.e. I need to know if
some of the drives in the container has problems (RAID5), so I can
take actions immediately. Of course, I may be really offtrack, as this
is new for me. But now, I see the whole container as one drive, that's
why I think that there should be something else to interact directly
with the adapter.

Looks like this one (PERC 4e/Di) is LSI MegaRAID, but I can not find
anywhere which of MegaRAID models correspond to Dell's name. And Dell
are saying that they support only RedHat.

Anyway, I have found some info on Dell's message boards, so I'll give it a try.
