The two-level hierarchy shown in the "Known Types" section of the KDE
Control Center's "File Associations" display (under "KDE Components")
reflects MIME types. E.g., under the "text" section, you find entries
such as "css", "html", "plain", "rtf", etc. These correspond to MIME
types "text/css", "text/html", "text/plain" and "text/rtf", resp.
