Tab completion doesn't get you anywhere? Try typing cd ./ and then the first few letters of the file name and hit tab. It should give you the full folder, probably with an escape character (slash or backslash) before the space. cd ./thr[tab] cd ./three\ word \filename cd 'three word filename' all work for me. Hope that helps. On Feb 8, 2005, at 5:33 PM, Dennis J. Tuchler wrote:
Occasionally, I find I have two-word directories, that is, directories with two-word names, where there is a space between the words. I have tried every combination possible (I think) using "cd", and can't get into the directory from the command line. How do I get into such a directory?
thanks
