hi

i boot my computer, i see the suse login screen (kdm i think, not sure...)

why i can't go in console mode when the suse login screen are there?
i need to login, after kde start... and after when i do: ctrl-alt f1, f2.... 
i'm able to go in console mode...

on the kdm login screen, i'm suppose to be able to do ctrl-alt f1... see a 
console...

how to correct that ? 
i use suse 9.2
