Hi
I have a adsl modem (vitelcom) and I have tried to configure in suse9.0
with cxacru driver.
The cuestion is, I have downloaded driver, I compile it, and I set up
it. Following the instructions of driver documentation, I have followed
this steps:
1- I configure file /etc/cxacru.
2- I configure file /etc/ppp/options.
3- I create file /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider
4- Run conexion with /usr/sbin/cxstart.sh and I obtain:
>>> Inits Conexant AccessRunner <<<
>>> Loading firmware...
>>> Loading driver...
>>> Setting PPPoE <<<
>>> Loading br2684 kernel module...
>>> Loading ppp_generic...
>>> Loading pppoe...
>>> Loading br2684ctl...
>>> Activating interface...
>>> Activating send/receive data...
>>> Loading pppd daemon...
Plugin pppoe.so loaded.
PPPoE Plugin Initialized
I look /var/log/messages and I look that something is bad:

resmgr[741]: disconnect from root

I say, something is bad, because in the same computer, I have done the
same operation
with other distribution (kernel-2.6.8) and the modem running ok.
