Hi guys, In 9.2 installation, at some point yast2 asks what sort of authentication I want to use - passwd, ldap, samba, ect. I would like to use ldap, with the ldap server being localhost, but I'm a bit lost as to how to get it going. The manual that came with 9.0 pro (I'm working on 9.2 though) isn't very helpful. It asks for the ldap server address, with 127.0.0.1 already in as default. It seems to me that yast doesn't actually setup the ldap server, because it complains that it can't connect Can anyone point me to good documentation on how to do this. I need just the basics of what I have to do to get the ldap stuff ready for yast to hook in. Thanks -- Kind regards Hans du Plooy Newington Consulting Services hansdp at newingtoncs dot co dot za
