I don't believe you'll get a Windows server to function as a BDC......
that would require that it communicate with the Samba PDC, and that's not
possible.
You can obviously add the Windows server as a domain member, but not BDC.
If you're looking for redundancy, you should look into LDAP replication
with samba.

I have a Samba 3 as the PDC in a net, now there's a need for adding a
windows
server to the net, preferably as a BDC.
What flavours of Windows will integrate seamlessly with a Samba server? In the way that Install -> join domain -> work as BDC.
I tried W2003, didn't find a PDC or domain. Same with Win2k. How is it done?
