_________Has anyone else had trouble after upgrading to the latest kernel update from Suse? After a reboot X didn't come up. I've had some problems on each kernel, including the original off the dvd. I didn't use YOU tonight, I used the nvidia installer after booting to init 3. After rebuilding the modules, I logged in as a regualr user and tried to startx. It failed. As root I tried sax2 -m 0=nvidia That failed. I had backed up a working XF86Config. I restored it. X failed. Since my backed up XF86Config was setup for nvidia I tried as root sax2 with no options/switches and that worked. nvidia module is loaded and working now. Good luck Doug
