I just read about kphone in some messages on here. I found it on the 9.1 CD's and installed it. I wanted to learn more about it and how to set it up. However when I press the help menu item I get a screen saying that the requested file was not found. Is anyone using this? Did yours come with the help file? Does anyone know where to find a manual or something on it. It would be nice if souce is available too. I am an old telephone person and I would like to understand more about how it works. You would probably get more useful info by searching on SIP and openh323. If you are using a firewall you would need to open ports 5060, 5065 and 5066. It's been a while since I've used this stuff, so I'm very rusty. I also find skype (if you don't need video) more convenient and easy to setup (http://www.skype.com), it doesn't need ports opened. If you need audio and video, check out gnomemeeting. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====
