   I don't know whether your DSL router can do that but 9.1 can if you set up 
the DHCP server correctly. You will also have to have the local DNS setup on 
your 9.1 machine. See

             /usr/share/doc/packages/dhcp-server/DDNS-howto.txt

Maybe your DSL router will work the same way.

         http://<insert DSL router IP here >

         Try the command 

              ifconfig 

         or, on windows try

              ipconfig

         from a DOS command window.
