I want to use the Java WebStart to download a Java program. I installed Java everything with SUSE 9.2. Yet, JWS won't pop up. The executable is set to be executable, but doesn't execute. It's the same file I used when I installed Java myself under SUSE 8.0. It worked fine then. Anyone know where I should look to solve the problem?
Thanks, Don
/usr/bin/javaws linked to /usr/lib/j2sdk1.4.2_05/jre/javaws/javaws works, but /usr/lib/jdk1.5.0/jre/javaws/javaws doesn't. 1.4.2_05 is the one released by SuSE for 9.2, but I think mine was downloaded from Sun and was installed on 9.1 before the upgrade to 9.2.
