All of it?
Yes, it is dynamic and built (populated) by the kernel.
I put these in my exclude file:
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/ /sys/class/scsi_host/ /sys/bus/pci/drivers/
This took care of the error messages. Am I harming my system with respect to restoring by keeping the rest of sys?
It is the same as /proc (check your fstab), and I would suggest not keeping any since it is dynamic. I suppose anything you restored there would be overwritten on a boot anyway, but if it was mounted (necessary to write there) it would already have all its info there, and if any hardware, order of plugged slots, etc., has changed, it could cause problems. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Registered Linux user 231871
