I have an old box that I have been playing with, it has Suse 9.0 on it. Does the default kernel have loopback enabled? I have been messing with Samba, and the more I am thinking about network topology the more I am begining to wonder, Would it be safe to enable Samba and NFS as servers on the same machine (can't see one for the other without hacking it) and so the Samba server looks more like a NT server, make it mount all the data as iso's, so it looks hooked to a cd tower. The more I learn the more I realize I don't know, and it;s just so frustrating. Wish to local schools would have Linux classes. Thanks
