I think this is because WINE is quite a mature project
and also cause windows drivers are compiled for IA32.
I'm not an expert, but i believe that a wrapper for OS
X drivers would only work with linux-PPC systems

For some reason it has been a nuisance getting ndiswrapper to work here, need to work on that during my holiday vacation!
It occurs to me that the newer Apple OS is Unix-based. Why is it not easier to import the Apple-Unix drivers for Buffalo Wireless-G nics (and other devices) than to import the vastly more foreign M$ drivers?
