Okay, I gave it a try, but that ended very short: From psp-package I tried installing cpqacuxe (with 'rpm -ivh cpqacuxe-7.16-21.linux.rpm') but following dependency failed: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is needed by...
Where can I obtain this lib? I tried googling around but nothing usable so far (not for SuSE anyway).
Juha
Perhaps you should try some older version of cpqacuxe ? I don't remember which one should be compatible with SuSE 9.1, but one or two certainly should work. Download some of them and try, you'll find them all at ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/supportsoftware/linux Anders.

I did a Suse Professional 9.1 (x86_64) installation on Compaq Proliant ML350G4 with Smart Array 641 (with Raid1). Every bit of hardware was detected successfully, but now I'm looking for a diagnostics tool for Raid. The server is going to be located in server hotel so I can't have everyday look at the console lights that both HDD:s are online, so I have to be able to get this information through programs.
Does anyone have any tools to do this (I don't need anything for configuration, just for diagnostics)? Haven't yet tried if ADU/ACU provided by HP works (there isn't version for Suse Pro).
Have been crawling around the net for this but nothing has been right yet. I'll be buying the SLES if there isn't any other way.
With regards, J
I guess that the SLES9 version of HP/Compaq's ACU should work with 9.1 Pro, but I haven't tried it myself yet..
Anders.
