[SLE] List Gang: I've opened a SuSe 9.1 Pro (FULL INSTALL -- desktop and server) support ticket to cover installation problems that seem to be tied directly to PORTMAP. There seems to be a fair number of people on the list that have been involved with this installation problem or something close. As soon as the problem is resolved I will make this information available only to those on the list that request it. There will be too much information and imposition on list members to update everyone including the uninterested. The results will be posted on a web site and the URL to that web location will be emailed only to those interested. If possible I will also try to include the YAST2 (alternative to Alice), config file, and other info used as a template to update other Linux machines. I will post this note a few times to ensure that those interested can benefit from these solutions.
