Hello Aaron: If memory serves, it seems to me that SuSE 9.1 offers a recovery feature. To restore Grub, I began a normal install (BIOS set to boot from the CD) and, at some point during the install, you have the option to repair or install Grub. I think that's how it worked but it's been awhile since I had to do this. Hope this helps. Cheers, Mike

I was dual booting with Windows XP and Linux and I had to use "fixmbr" to re-write the master boot record because, I guess Grub got messed up because it wouldn't boot. Is there anyway to save my installed Linux because now I just have the regular Windows XP boot without an option for LInux?
