Hi All,
I'm a keen Emacs user and I've recently been
experimenting with the Wiki module. I've discovered a
new take on the Wiki model (Muse) which publishes to
multiple document types (html, pdf, LateX etc)
simultaneously.
Unfortunately the project publish requires an entry in
the files.el which only exists in the newer CVS
versions of the Emacs software, so I've been trying to
get this installed.
So far I've downloaded from anonymous CVS, and
unpacked the file. When I follow the instructions in
the install-cvs file I have a problem.
The ./configure appears to complete without errors.
However the make bootstrap step (which I think is
meant to do a byte compile on the lisp scripts) fails.
There are two errors:-
Error 2, with something about makeinfo not found
and Error 127, also something about makeinfo
(unfortunately I'm not in front of the machine right
now, so I can't give more information than that).
Has anyone built this on their Suse box, and were any
mods required to get the compile to complete?
Thanks in anticipation...
Richard
