Do they have thier Suse 9.2 copies already ???
"Brown" delivered mine this afternoon. Will open the box tomorrow morning. Will be a few days though because I am going to proceed "cautiously" from my old 8.2 onto a brand new AMD 64 box. Stay tuned.
Remember to use the right side of the DVD and not the left.
Hmmmm....How can you tell ? No line down the middle or marking right and left. :-) Seriously though, the face/top of the DVD is marked as both 32 bit and 64 bit and has a kind of matte finish. And not one word in the admin manual which I have been studying diligently.

Patiently awaiting my new AMD Athlon64 +3500 and a whole gig of ram. Think I'm gonna swoon !!!
Did 9.1 x86_64 to 9.2 x86_64 upgrade using the DVD, no problems in 3 or so days. I just put it in and booted up, it updated the SuSE kernel entry in /boot/grub/menu.lst and left my kernel.org kernels entries alone, booted up 2.6.10-rc1-mm2 as before. I had to copy the sound settings from /etc/modprobe.conf.rpmsave to /etc/modprobe.conf, "rcalsasound restart". Uneventful upgrade. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
