Hi.
I have just installed my SuSE 9.1
It has been installed on the first partition of my harddisk, where I had XP before.
On my other partition I have SuSE 9.1 installed.
I can boot both systems now by booting from their DVD's.
How can I make the system to dualboot ?. Very easy. Use YaST. System/Boot Loader configuration There are some dependencies on how you set up your /boot. Just point your boot loader (eg GRUB) at your HD (eg /dev/hda) Then edit available sections, and set up one for each root partition.
I normally do a similar thing when I install a new version. I dual boot the
old version and the new version. One of the issues is that you need to
point the stage one at one of the /boot/grub directories. It does not
matter which one. Once you get everything set up, you should be able to
dual boot.
