My question is. How can i boot in text only mode? I did it the other day by accident, and was able to CD around on the hard drives .... I desperately need to get the data off this machine as it was a server...
When the boot screen displays, type "init 3" <enter> -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
