I just tested this feature on my desktop (SuSE 8.2, KDE 3.3.0), with the
following results:
ALt+F2 (Run Command) '/home/aphilipp' : Konqueror comes up with the
filemanagement profile.
Alt+F2 (Run Command) 'www.google.com': Konqueror comes up with the webbrowsing
profile.
I think this is what you would expect it to do, and I have no idea which
profile it is using on your desktop, where things apparently don't work as
expected.
