Hi all,
I've got a hold of 9.2 and, as I can't but off the CD, I had to make up
floppies. after making all 3 boot floppies, the 5 modules and rescue, fired
the boot process and... after starting to load the kernel I get the following
sequence:
"Insert Boot Disk 2" (did that)
After a short while:
"Insert boot disk 1" (did that too)
After another short while
"Insert boot disk 6"
....?????
silly question: which disk 6? I've tried modules, rescue to no avail...
plus, following the README's instructions to concatenate floppies (cat
bootdsk? >boot.all; mount -oloop ...) has the same result as mounting the
first bootdisk only...
I'd be grateful if anyone could point me to what i'm doing wrong...
Thank you in advance,
Laur
